Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• PA teaching certificate or enrollment in a PA certification program.
• Clearances (PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, FBI) required.
• Experience in an urban school setting preferred.
• Fingerprints/background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a rigorous curriculum aligned with PA Standards for teachers.
• Demonstrate mastery of subject matter and instructional skills for the taught course.
• Create lesson plans aligned with standards and use formative assessment.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom fostering independence and collaboration.
