Job description

We are a strongly established Cross Sectional Imaging Service looking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled CT and/or MRI Radiographer with an extensive background in CT and/or MRI. Extensive training can be provided for a suitable candidate as we provide rigorous on‑going training for would be CT/MR Radiographers.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a team‑oriented individual with strong teaching abilities, working with trainee CT/MRI Radiographers.
• Communicate effectively with patients using a patient‑centred approach.
• Provide imaging services across our sites, which house Canon CT scanners – Prime SP and Genesis ONE scanners, and MR scanners: Siemens Avanto 1.5T at Royal Oldham Hospital, GE Signa Explorer 1.5T at Rochdale Infirmary, and Siemens Aera 1.5T at Fairfield General Hospital.
• Work flexibly over 7 days and may be required to work occasionally at other Trust sites: Royal Oldham Hospital, Fairfield General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary.
• Support the competency‑based progression scheme from band 5/6.

Employment Details

This Band 6 post is a Northern Care Alliance position with a base site but also requires occasional working at the other Trust sites.
