Are you an experienced social care professional with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people? We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic CSW - Team Manager - to join our clients' Children and Young People\'s Disability Service. This is a contract role lasting 2 months with an attractive pay rate and excellent benefits.

About the Role: CSW - Team Manager - you will oversee a team responsible for working with children with disabilities, managing cases involving child in need, child protection, and children looked after. You will be instrumental in providing leadership, strategic planning, and ensuring adherence to safeguarding policies while promoting a positive working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of social workers and specialist support workers within the Children and Young People\'s Disability Service
  • Oversee case management, ensuring high-quality, timely support for children with disabilities
  • Promote best practice in safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Develop team skills through supervision, appraisals, and ongoing training
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to coordinate effective support plans
  • Ensure all cases are accurately documented, and statutory requirements are met
  • Support vulnerable children and families through proactive intervention and advice
Candidate Requirements
