A major defence organization in Greater London is seeking a CSOC Transformation SO2b to support project design work and liaise with various stakeholders. This full-time role includes promoting the transformation programme and maintaining relationships within Defence. The ideal candidate will work flexibly in an ambiguous environment, contributing to various project teams and adapting responsibilities as per Defence Reform directions.
Subject to formal establishment a vacancy will arise for 1 x OF3s to serve as CSOC Transformation SO2b at Cyber & Special Operations (CSOC) MOD Main Building on FTRS (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 01 Apr 2026 ( or earlier / later subject to formal establishment and candidate status).
Unit Function :
CSOC Tx is CSOCs flagship transformation programme charged with ensuring the Command can meet the challenges of the future and deliver on our three purposes : Supporting Campaigning; Delivering Integration; and Leading Cyber.
CSOC TX is by its nature a complex programme that requires continual re-evaluation of its priorities pace and scope to ensure it is delivering optimally in a crowded context. This requires individuals to be flexible mentally agile and comfortable working in an ambiguous environment.
Position Role :
Supports the implementation of CSOC op model changes in response to Defence Reform direction in support Head CSOC Tx and Director Strategy.
Within the Programme various Projects are being undertaken to deliver the vision for the Command; individuals will work within one of these Project Teams. Roles will vary and will change depending on individuals KSEB priorities within the Programme and external factors (such as Defence Reform and the Strategic Defence Review). Regardless individuals will be intimately involved in the development of projects to deliver the output agreed within the accepted timeframe. The Programme utilises the Agile methodology and as such specific role responsibilities are difficult to define.
