Job summary

Wintermute in London seeks a Trading Analyst with strong Python skills and a keen interest in high-frequency trading and market making. You will work closely with traders to expand and improve activity across markets, collaborating with developers while prioritizing automation and scalable solutions.

You will support the middle office in improving settlement and reconciliation, and develop tools and dashboards used to inform strategy and risk management.

Qualifications

• Proficient Python coding skills (work/study/personal projects).
• Strong quantitative/analytical abilities.
• Willingness to learn algorithmic, high-frequency trading concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to traders during ad-hoc market events.
• Troubleshoot and debug live trading systems; address errors.
• Develop reports, analysis and GUI tools for traders.
• Design and maintain data visualizations for insights.
• Architect and manage deployments to keep trading env reliable.
• Conduct trade reconciliation and ensure settlement accuracy.
