  • Attending police station for interviews.
  • Will require attendance out of office hours.
  • Extra out of hours will be paid on top of basic salary.

Crown Court Clerk / Police Station Representative| York | Full Time, 9:00 am –5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (mainly office based) | Starting salary £30,000, with ability to earn more for extra out-of-hours work

Their criminal defence team works tirelessly to support clients facing serious charges—24/7, from police stations through to Crown Court proceedings. They’re committed to delivering expert, proactive defence from a team you can talk to, combining legal excellence with grounded, approachable support.

What will your role look like?
  • Assisting in the smooth operation of Crown Court listings, ensuring hearings proceed efficiently
  • Preparing and managing court documentation
  • Coordinating with legal professionals to support continuity from the police station to the Crown Court stages
  • Managing case files, digital systems, and correspondence related to court listings and proceedings
  • Being a calm, professional point of contact for court users and internal teams
  • Attending at the police station for interviews
  • Will require attendance out of office hours 1 evening per week, 1 weekend in 4
  • Extra out of hours will be paid on top of basic salary per case
