What You’ll Do as an CRM Global Campaigns Manager

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Extensive CRM Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of digital CRM experience, ideally with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to drive Primark’s evolving CRM programme across email, app, and SMS channels globally.
  • Strategic Leadership: Own and lead the creation of the global CRM campaign calendar, ensuring alignment with the overall Brand/Content calendar and delivering a consistent outbound strategy across all markets.
  • Campaign Ownership & Execution: Manage end-to-end CRM campaign development—from strategy through execution—while maintaining high-quality standards and incorporating localisation feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with CRM Customer Engagement Manager, Content, and Brand teams to optimise channel usage (email, SMS, push notifications) and identify planning and optimisation opportunities.
  • Team Management & Development: Lead and organise the CRM campaign team (3 heads), oversee workload, ensure QA excellence, and support training and development initiatives.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Work with Senior CRM Manager to implement test-and-learn strategies, troubleshoot issues, accelerate rollouts, and deliver insights for automated customer journeys and future CRM activities.

  • Technical & Industry Experience: Extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, email marketing, HTML/AmpScript basics, and working with creative agencies; familiarity with e-commerce or retail is a plus.
