Job summary

Evolve Talent Search Ltd seeks a Shutdown Supervisor to join a major facilities management contract at a critical government site in Weybridge, Surrey. The role focuses on planning and coordinating planned shutdowns across 20 high-containment facilities, working with client teams, contractors, and project groups.

You will oversee biannual shutdowns, ensure M&E/HVAC/BMS activities, and lead meetings while maintaining documentation and compliance records.

Qualifications

• Engineering/FM background with strong planned maintenance experience.
• Experience managing contractors and coordinating planned works or shutdowns.
• Good understanding of M&E services, ideally including HVAC and BMS.
• Experience working within a compliance-led or critical environment.
• Strong knowledge of RAMS, risk assessments, H&S and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate biannual maintenance shutdowns across a safety-critical environment.
• Manage M&E, HVAC, BMS, PPM, reactive and remedial works during shutdown periods.
• Coordinate contractors, obtain quotations, raise POs and review RAMS.
• Lead stakeholder meetings through to completion.
• Manage documentation, reports, CAFM information and assurance records.

Shutdown Supervisor | Weybridge, Surrey

Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00 or 09:00–18:00

We are looking for a Shutdown Supervisor to join a major facilities management contract supporting a large Central Government site in Weybridge.

This is a key role responsible for planning and coordinating planned maintenance shutdowns across 20 high-containment facilities, working closely with the client, engineering teams, contractors and project teams.

Responsibilities for a Shutdown Supervisor

• Plan and coordinate biannual maintenance shutdowns across a safety-critical environment
• Manage M&E, HVAC, BMS, PPM, reactive and remedial works during shutdown periods
• Coordinate contractors, obtain quotations, raise POs and review RAMS
• Lead stakeholder meetings through to completion
• Manage documentation, reports, CAFM information and assurance records

Requirements
