Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking band 5 Staff Nurses to join our Critical Care Units at Cross Site. This role offers rotation across five units, including J54, J81, L03, L04 and L06, with opportunities to gain broad critical care experience and develop key nursing skills.

You will need current UK NMC registration and be committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care within a dynamic multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Provide and deliver high-quality patient care in a Critical Care setting.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
• Demonstrate compassion, reliability, and strong communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualized programmes of care.
• Deliver care without supervision.
• Take charge of the ward or department as necessary in the absence of the Sister or Charge Nurse.
• Participate in in-service training, preceptorship and mentorship of junior staff and students.
• Be the prime care provider for a group of patients.
