Qualifications

  • Registered with the NMC as a nurse.
  • Experience in critical care and leadership.
  • Teaching qualifications or mentorship experience.

Responsibilities

Critical Care Nurse - Hammersmith Hospital

This exciting Band 6 opportunity will develop your leadership and management skills within our proactive multi-disciplinary team. We will offer you the following routes to develop within our teams. In house shift leader development programme depending on unit specialty, education relevant to the specialty with university accreditation.

Main duties of the job
  • To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients that is compassionate and caring, to assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate them without supervision, to assist in leading and monitoring the performance of the nursing team and to deputise for the senior nurse when required.
