Hywel Dda University Health Board in West Wales is seeking a Band 5 Assistant Psychologist to join our developing Critical Care Psychology Service. You will help support the psychological care of patients, families, and staff across the critical care pathway within a four-site NHS setting.

Under dedicated supervision, you will contribute to assessments, interventions, and service development, with opportunities for professional growth in CBT and low-intensity therapies while aligning with

Competenze

Degree in Psychology with graduate basis for registration with the British Psychological Society (2:1).
Post-graduate training in a relevant area.
Experience in an NHS setting.
Experience delivering low-intensity psychological interventions.
Experience delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Mansioni

Support psychological services for patients, families, and staff across the critical care pathway.
Under supervision, contribute to psychological assessment and support during hospital admission and after discharge.
Contribute to service development, audit, evaluation and quality improvement projects.
Promote psychologically informed care and staff wellbeing across multidisciplinary teams.
