Job description
Overview

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to be a Team Manager in the Crisis Cafe. This is an out of hours service, working at twilight hours and weekends. The team is looking for a professionally qualified Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or suitably qualified Psychologist who is committed to promoting recovery.

You will be required to manage a team of professionally qualified Mental Health Practitioners as well as Support staff, to work therapeutically with a client group of people who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Working within a philosophy of recovery, to achieve potential and independence and maintain positive wellbeing in a short period of time.

The role will involve providing clinical and managerial supervision to the team to oversee assessment, interventions, triggering and supporting safeguarding, skills development and other psychosocial interventions, including carer support, family intervention and education. You will be expected to demonstrate leadership skills to develop the service and work with all stakeholders to reach outcomes and strategic targets. On appointment, you will be a member of an integrated team and will receive professional, clinical supervision and have access to a range of training and development opportunities.
