TeacherActive is recruiting a Criminology Lecturer for a Further Education College in Leamington Spa. The role is part-time and temporary ongoing with an ASAP start, focusing on delivering Criminology lessons and supporting students up to Level 3, including assessment of progress.

The ideal candidate will hold a Criminology degree and a teaching qualification or FE teaching experience, with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication.

The college is looking to take on a dedicated Criminology Lecturer on a part-time, temporary ongoing basis, with an ASAP start and no confirmed end date. The successful Criminology Lecturer will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students studying Criminology, potentially at Level 3, assessing progress and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The successful Criminology Lecturer will have:

• A relevant degree in Criminology or a closely related subject
• A recognised teaching qualification or relevant teaching experience within Further Education
• Experience teaching Criminology or a related subject, ideally at Level 3
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
