West Midlands, GBP 40,000+ (DOE) – JOB REF: 1702

Leading regional law firm is currently looking to hire a Newly Qualified Criminal Solicitor. They are a well‑recognised firm with an excellent reputation in the field of criminal law.

Responsibilities
  • Applications are sought from Newly Qualified Criminal Solicitors with Duty Solicitor accreditation.
  • Experience representing clients at police stations and in court.
  • Work within a successful team, taking on a broad range of criminal matters attending Police Stations and Magistrates' Courts as part of the Court and Police Station Duty Rota Scheme.
  • Handle a sensitive caseload, ranging from bail applications, serious fraud and white‑collar crime to drug and theft cases.
  • Passionate about the sector and motivated to provide practical, high‑quality client service to all legal aid and private clients.
  • Part of an ambitious Legal 500 firm with a clear expansion plan across its offices in the West Midlands and Warwickshire.
  • Career aspirations fully supported with opportunities for promotion to senior roles.
