Job summary

eNL Legal in Coventry is recruiting a Criminal Solicitor (Duty Solicitor) with 2+ years PQE to manage a busy caseload and provide clear advice to clients throughout proceedings. You will work closely with the Head of Department, taking ownership of cases, meeting deadlines and delivering a high standard of legal service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ PQE with a focus on criminal law.
• Higher Rights of Audience would be desirable.

• A confident and professional approach to working with clients.

Criminal Solicitor (Duty Solicitor), 2+ Years PQE, Coventry, £50,000+ (DOE) - Are you a motivated Criminal Solicitor looking for an opportunity to take ownership of your own caseload, develop your expertise and make a real difference to clients? JOB REF:5689.

THE ROLE:

• This is an excellent opportunity to join a team where professionalism, client care and a supportive approach are at the heart of everything they do.
• You will manage your own caseload of criminal matters, taking responsibility for progressing cases efficiently and providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the process.
• Working closely with the Head of Department, you will also have the opportunity to assist with more complex matters, broaden your experience and continue developing your skills as a criminal practitioner.
• Your responsibilities will include managing competing deadlines, maintaining accurate case records, communicating effectively with clients and colleagues, and ensuring every matter receives the care and attention it deserves.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Ideally suited to a solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE, but any applications from newly qualified solicitors who are keen to build their career in criminal law would be welcomed.
