Job summary

Recruit Select Limited is seeking an experienced Criminal Solicitor to join a successful practice with offices across the UK. The role covers counties including Buckinghamshire, Midlands, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Telford, Middlesex and Worcester.

You will defend clients facing criminal charges across a diverse range of cases, from minor offences to serious allegations, handling private and funded work with thorough case assessment and clear,

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in criminal proceedings, including hearings, trials and negotiations

• Advise clients on their legal rights, options, and potential outcomes with clarity and transparency
• Negotiate plea agreements and sentencing terms with prosecutors to secure favorable results for clients
• Prepare legal documents such as affidavits, motions, and appeals with meticulous attention to detail
• Collaborate with experts, investigators, and support staff to build strong defense strategies
• Maintain comprehensive case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures and deadlines
