Are you a passionate Criminal Duty Solicitor, looking to work on high-quality matters with an established firm also offering lucrative bonus scheme and fully remote working?

Our Client, a highly regarded, multi-service Law Firm is expanding its Criminal Defence practice to welcome an ambitious Criminal Duty Solicitor into the Manchester office.

The team has been providing exceptional criminal defence services for over 40 years, and it has an exciting opening for a Criminal Defence Solicitor looking to increase their earnings, whilst working as remote as they please!

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients at police stations, Magistrates\' and Crown Courts
  • Provide expert legal advice and advocacy in criminal matters
  • Manage a caseload of criminal defence files from initial instruction through to conclusion
  • Maintain high standards of client care and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the development of the criminal department
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor (2PQE+) with experience in criminal defence work
  • Duty Solicitor & Police Station accreditations
  • Experience managing cases across Police Stations, Magistrates and Crown Courts
  • Strong advocacy and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
  • Driving license and car required for travel
