The role involves defending clients facing criminal charges, handling both Private Client and funded matters across a broad spectrum, from minor offences to serious allegations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in criminal litigation and client representation.
• Strong ability to explain legal concepts clearly to clients.
• Ability to manage multiple cases under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in criminal proceedings, including hearings, trials, and negotiations
• Conduct thorough case assessments by reviewing evidence, police reports, and witness statements
• Advise clients on their legal rights, options, and potential outcomes with clarity and transparency
• Negotiate plea agreements and sentencing terms with prosecutors to secure favorable results for clients
• Prepare legal documents such as affidavits, motions, and appeals with meticulous attention to detail
• Collaborate with experts, investigators, and support staff to build strong defense strategies
• Maintain comprehensive case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures and deadlines
