William James Recruitment is partnering with a specialist law firm in Central London to recruit a Criminal Litigation Solicitor. The role focuses on complex criminal litigation, fraud and white-collar crime, offering high-value matters and early responsibility.

You will advise sophisticated clients, work with counsel, and contribute to a growing practice while developing within a specialist team in a prestigious Central London setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Criminal Solicitor with approximately 1–6 years' PQE.
• Experience in criminal litigation, fraud and/or white-collar crime.
• Private client or tax experience would be advantageous.
• Strong academic background, ideally with a minimum 2:1 degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex criminal litigation, fraud and related matters.
• Manage high-value and time-sensitive contentious cases.
• Work closely with counsel and other professional advisers on strategic matters.
• Provide clear and practical advice to private individuals, business owners and senior professionals.
• Liaise with accountants, financial advisers, trustees and other professional stakeholders.
• Undertake detailed legal research, analysis and case preparation.
• Manage matters with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility.
• Develop effective case strategies and provide commercially focused advice.
• Build strong client relationships and provide a consistently high level of service.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the wider practice.

Criminal Litigation Solicitor – Central London – Salary from £80,000

We are working with a highly regarded specialist law firm in Central London that is looking to recruit a Criminal Litigation Solicitor to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in criminal litigation, fraud or white-collar crime to work on complex, high-value and sensitive matters.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced lawyers and counsel, advising sophisticated clients across a range of contentious matters. The role offers significant client exposure, responsibility from an early stage and the opportunity to develop within a specialist practice.

The Role:

• Advise clients on complex criminal litigation, fraud and related matters


• Manage high-value and time-sensitive contentious cases

About You:
