A local authority recruitment agency in Northampton is seeking a Locum Criminal Litigation and Licensing Lawyer. This full-time role offers a competitive rate of £55-£60 per hour, starting ASAP for an initial 3-month period with potential extensions. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of cases including Health and Safety and Licensing matters, and undertake weekly advocacy sessions. Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Criminal Litigation and Licensing Lawyer to join a local authority based in the Midlands. The role will be for an initial 3-month period with a strong possibility of this being extended.
The successful Criminal Litigation and Licensing Lawyer or Barrister will be able to 'hit the ground running' and manage their own caseload of matters, which will may include:
You will need to be able to undertake advocacy in person once per week in Northampton. You must have a background in working in the public sector or local government.
