HCB Solicitors Limited in Evesham is seeking a proactive Paralegal to join our Criminal Law team on site. You will handle new enquiries, onboarding, file management, and routine client communications while supporting Counsel and court attendance.

Required to have at least 2 years’ experience in Criminal Law, familiarity with AML and electronic search databases, and a full UK driving licence. A meticulous, client‑focused approach and strong IT skills are essential.

Formación

• At least 2 years’ experience in Criminal Law
• Familiarity with AML obligations; training provided
• Familiarity with electronic search databases
• Ability to handle sensitive issues in a supportive manner
• Knowledge of developments in criminal law
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Responsabilidades

• Dealing with new enquiries and onboarding efficiently
• Organising, e-filing and scanning into Case Management System and maintaining paper files
• Opening and archiving all paper and electronic files
• Handling routine client correspondence and queries
• Attending to clients in person and by phone with strong interpersonal skills
• Coordinating with Counsel, Courts, Experts and other solicitors
• Ensuring client and firm information remains confidential
• Proficient with Word, Outlook and Excel; experience with electronic Case Management Systems
• Supporting administration within the Criminal Law Team and Evesham office
• Attending Court and Prisons; preparing case files and documents
• Advocacy in certain areas
