Job Title: Criminal Justice Social Worker

Location: Clackmannanshire, Scotland

Pay Rate: £25p/h - £38p/h

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Criminal Justice Social Worker to join a dynamic team in Clackmannanshire. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing support and intervention for individuals involved in the criminal justice system, helping them reintegrate into society and promoting positive change.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting assessments of individuals involved in the criminal justice system, identifying their needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to address the specific needs of clients.
  • Providing support and intervention services to individuals to reduce re-offending and promote rehabilitation.
  • Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Engaging with clients and their families to facilitate positive outcomes and sustainable changes.
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of interventions and assessments.
Qualifications
  • A recognised qualification in Social Work (e.g. Degree, Masters, DipSW).
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the criminal justice system.
  • Strong assessment and case management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies in the field of criminal justice social work.
  • LS/CMI risk assessment accredited.
