We’re working with a leading Drug and Alcohol Charity who are looking for an experienced Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals involved in the criminal justice system who are struggling with substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with clients in custody and the community to support recovery from drug and alcohol misuse.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop recovery plans, and deliver evidence‑based interventions.
  • Liaise with Probation, Police, Prisons, and other agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
  • Support harm reduction initiatives and promote safer substance use practices.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and ensure all safeguarding concerns are appropriately managed.
  • Motivate and empower service users to engage in treatment and achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working within criminal justice or substance misuse services.
  • Sound knowledge of recovery models and harm reduction approaches.
  • Excellent communication and multi‑agency working skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
  • Enhanced DBS required (must be in place or willing to obtain one).
