Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Criminal Justice Housing Worker: Supporting clients in Crystal Palace Park, Bromley SE26 post code area of South East London bordering Kent.

The role is working full time with standard hours 37.5 hours Monday-Friday (9am-5pm) no part time option currently advertised sadly.

Your contributions will directly influence the lives of service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.

A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:

  • To be responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining independent living skills and general wellbeing for a wide cross section in society.
  • To use organisational needs, risk and aspirational based assessment tools with the service users to gain a clear understanding of their individual situations
  • To formulate, implement and review personalised, client focused support plans with service users and other professionals as needed.
  • To utilise key working sessions to develop and sustain independence, maintain their tenancy, and enjoy a good quality of life.
  • To motivate service users to participate in and take ownership of all aspects of their daily lives.
  • To encourage engagement in activities which supports their physical and mental wellbeing.
  • To enable service users to access physical and mental health services within the local community.
  • To promote independence with service users through effective relationship building.
  • To maximise financial security and independence through encouraging access to employment, training and volunteering opportunities.
  • To liaise effectively and professionally with other agencies involved in supporting the service users.
  • To provide quality information to service users on alternative housing options when needed and how best to utilise existing supports.

In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive rate of £15.91 per hour rising to £16.22 per hour after 12 weeks service.
