Findyourfootsteps Recruitment is recruiting a Criminal Defense Solicitor for our Warrington office. The role offers hybrid working hours (9.00am - 5.15pm, Monday to Friday) and involves handling both legal aid and privately funded cases across Magistrates and Crown Court with court appearances and police station representations.

You will need experience in criminal law, strong client care, and the ability to manage tasks to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of criminal matters for a mix of legal aid and privately funded clients
• Conducting advocacy in Magistrates Court
• Managing a caseload of Crown Court cases
• Attending court hearings and representing clients at police stations
• Liaising with other solicitors in the team, clients, courts and third parties
• Progressing cases efficiently
• Preparing clear, accurate documentation and providing legal advice
• Supporting and contributing to team objectives
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards

Not only are they seeking an experienced criminal solicitor, but there is also room in the department for a NQ Criminal Solicitor as well!

Responsibilities
