Clayton Legal is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate for a Crime & Regulatory role with 3–5 years' PQE in criminal defence. The position requires regular presence in London, with flexible hybrid working and the opportunity to work across a Top 100 law firm recognised by Legal 500.

You will handle police station advice, Magistrates' Court advocacy and Crown Court matters, while benefiting from a collaborative culture and strong development paths within a growing Crime & Regulatory team.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years' PQE in criminal defence.
• Police station accredited, with Magistrates' Court advocacy experience.
• Experience in Crown Court matters, via advocacy or case preparation.

Aufgaben

• Police station advice and early-stage representation.
• Magistrates' Court advocacy.
• Crown Court case preparation, including evidence analysis and submissions.
• Drafting persuasive written representations and correspondence.
• Supporting clients through complex, sensitive and often highly stressful situations.
• Working closely with experienced colleagues while developing autonomy and expertise.
