Crew Planning Manager (Based in Luton)
Purpose of the position: Manages efficient allocation of crew and roster creation for Wizz Air UK, ensuring roster efficiency and compliance with regulation as well as driving systems and process improvements. The manager delivers operational performance by leading the team through efficient rostering strategies while supporting crew work‑life balance.

Responsibilities:
- Leading the Crew Planner team for Wizz Air UK
- Oversight and accountability of the crew planning function within the AOC
- In collaboration with the Crew Resource Manager, oversight of crew resources available to ensure program coverage and operational resilience
- Planning crew routes based on the schedule and duty rules
- Optimizing the crew roster to ensure highest crew productivity while adhering to safety and compliance requirements
- Responsibility for roster fatigue and well‑being of the crew community
- Ensuring high efficiency of built rosters
- Taking the lead in process and system improvement
- Cross‑functional project management
- Cooperation with various stakeholders across the organization (Crew Planning, Cabin and Flights Operation, Training, Human Resources)
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations (duty and flight time limitations, Fatigue Risk Management)
- Achieving a balanced distribution of work between available crews
- Creation of balanced roster patterns and analysis of schedule requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree
- Excellent English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Growth mindset and can‑do attitude
- Professional experience of 5 years in a multinational environment
- Ability to synthesize information into recommendations
- Good oral and written presentation skills
- Team work and strong interpersonal skills
- Good leadership and people management skills
- Flexibility to travel as required away from Head Office
- Knowledge of CAE, Jeppesen, AIMS Crew and Ops system and knowledge of Working Rules Limitations and Rest requirements
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to details
