Job summary

Partners Group in London is seeking a talented professional to join the Private Credit Secondaries Investment Team. You will contribute to underwriting, modelling and monitoring of new credit secondary investments to grow the Credit Secondaries strategy.

The role requires a Finance/ Economics background and 2–6 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel modelling skills and a collaborative mindset. A UK work right is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree, with emphasis on Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar.
• 2-6 years of professional work experience in private markets or investment banking, ideally with private credit / leveraged finance and/or secondaries experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to high standards of business conduct.
• Understanding of the principles of private credit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with underwriting credit secondary transactions.
• Model portfolio outcomes and price investments in target products.
• Prepare investment memoranda for the Investment Committee process.
• Develop innovative solutions for sellers and/or GPs.
• Build and maintain relationships with credit managers and intermediaries.
• Improve and automate credit secondaries modelling.
• Create slides, reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.

What it's about

In this position you will be part of the Private Credit Secondaries Investment Team in London. You will be joining a growing team at Partners Group in a fast-growing part of the market. Core responsibilities will include modelling, underwriting, and monitoring of new Credit Secondary investments amongst others to assist with developing and growing the Credit Secondaries strategy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with underwriting credit secondary transactions
• Responsible for modelling of portfolio outcomes and pricing of individual investments in target products
• Preparation of investment memoranda for the Investment Committee process
• Come up with innovative solutions for sellers and/or GPs
• Relationship building and maintenance with credit managers and intermediaries
• Improvements and automation of credit secondaries modelling
• Creation of slides, reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders

What we expect
