Credit Risk, Senior Manager Direct Lending

Our Credit Risk team partners with businesses across Macquarie to assess and manage credit risks, ensuring that transactions are structured and executed effectively. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Macquarie Capital’s Principal Finance business, supporting the evaluation of direct lending opportunities. Our team is dedicated to delivering robust risk analysis and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our advertised location.

What role will you play?

As a Credit Senior Manager, you will lead the review and approval processes for direct lending transactions from a Credit perspective. You will conduct sector and counterparty-specific market analysis, forecasting the potential impacts of market changes on transactions and operating environments. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing transaction documentation and ensuring alignment with risk management principles. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of Macquarie Capital’s Principal Finance business.
