Overview

Credit Risk Manager UK&I — Alton — Full time. Exclusive Networks (EXN) is a global cybersecurity specialist providing partners and end-customers with a wide range of services and product portfolios. The role supports the UK & Ireland (UKI) Credit Risk and Credit Control teams in managing credit risk, cash collections, and forecasting across a portfolio of over 1,500 customers, with coverage for the wider Northern Region credit teams as needed. The position helps maintain EXN's commercial flexibility through a consistent, structured, and globally aligned credit approach, and involves close collaboration with regional sales teams to support forecasting and deal registrations, while leading and coordinating the UKI credit teams to ensure timely collections and accurate cash flow forecasting.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively work with sales and customers to maximise current credit terms and facilities, ensuring needs are addressed and escalated as needed.
  • Support and collaborate with local and regional Finance Directors and the EMEA Director of Credit.
  • Engage with customers’ CFOs/FDs to evaluate risks as required.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal teams to advise on potential risk and escalate where necessary.
  • Provide credit availability updates and credit exposure reports to the senior leadership team.
  • Gather relevant information on customers (Credit Reports, Allianz Intelligence, public-domain information) to inform credit decisions.
  • Manage credit risk data for review and evaluation, reporting into regular Country Cash Calls with senior management alongside the local FD.
  • Liaise with credit insurance providers.
  • Resolve queries from internal and external customers.
  • Keep data files up to date on internal systems; manage compliance and GDPR regarding customer information.
  • Manage order approval, archiving program and data checks.
  • Contribute to senior risk portfolio management alongside the credit solutions manager.
Qualifications and Experience
  • FCICM Qualified or qualified by experience.
  • 5+ years of credit analyst or risk experience.
  • Experience in credit control is advantageous.
  • Experience in IT distribution or IT reseller environment with knowledge of IT reseller customers is preferable.
  • Service-driven with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong research skills.
  • Organised team player who performs well under pressure; proactive, innovative, and solution-driven.
  • Ability to collaborate with wider teams to explore all avenues.
