If so, this could be your next step.
ClearAccept are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst / Underwriter to join a small, supportive team where you'll have autonomy, real responsibility, and the chance to genuinely develop your career.
Our payments solution was built to support our ClearCourse partner platforms, helping thousands of businesses take and reconcile payments with far less admin. We're part of the wider ClearCourse Group, with offices up and down the UK (and beyond), which means your career can grow in many different directions - whether that's deeper into risk, wider into compliance, or over into product, tech, and more.
When we bring someone new into ClearCourse, we look for three things: energy, expertise, and empathy. If that sounds like you, you'll fit right in.
This isn't theory - it's hands-on, real-world credit risk.
You'll be responsible for assessing and evaluating new merchant applications, reviewing financials, and completing the full due-diligence journey. You'll decide on risk scores, recommend security terms, and play a major role in monitoring existing merchants to keep our portfolio safe.
You'll also own and maintain the Merchant Risk Register, investigate risk events, and work closely with our Head of Underwriting & Credit Risk to keep our frameworks aligned to best practice and regulatory expectations.
This is a hybrid role working 37.5 hours per week, and you'll need to be within a comfortable commute to either our Manchester or London office. The team is made up of five people, and you'll be joining a highly experienced group who'll help you grow and shape your career.
If you're motivated by making sound decisions, spotting risks early, and improving processes, you'll enjoy the challenge here.
If your CV isn't quite up to date, don't worry. Send what you have and apply - we'll take it from there.
