Job summary

A financial services recruitment firm is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to develop and maintain credit risk models, manipulate large datasets using SQL, and create visualisations for senior management. The ideal candidate will have a background in credit risk analysis and strong analytical skills, with knowledge of regulatory frameworks. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Credit Risk Analysis, ideally within a bank or insurance environment.

Credit Risk Analyst — Salary: Up to £60,000 + bonus

Location: London (hybrid)

Responsibilities
  • Developing, analysing and maintaining credit risk models and portfolio reporting.
  • Using SQL to extract and manipulate large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Building dashboards and visualisations (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to present insights to senior management.
  • Supporting the business with risk appetite monitoring, capital adequacy, and credit exposure analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks such as IFRS9, PRA, Basel, or Solvency II.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across risk, finance, and data teams to enhance risk insight and governance.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Credit Risk Analysis, ideally within a bank or insurance environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL (other coding languages such as Python or SAS a plus).
