Job summary

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is seeking an entrepreneurial Credit Repo Trader to build a dedicated Credit Repo franchise within the global Securities Finance business. You will trade, originate opportunities and strengthen client relationships across global markets from London, Madrid and New York.

This role combines trading with business development, risk management and cross-regional collaboration, offering exposure to Investment Grade, High Yield and Emerging Markets financing

Qualifications

• Experience in repo, securities finance, or related markets activities.
• Understanding of financing markets and collateralised trading products.
• Ability to interact with clients and market counterparties.
• Disciplined approach to risk management.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to own initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Execute repo and reverse repo transactions across Investment Grade, High Yield and EM securities.
• Deliver financing solutions to clients and internal desks.
• Develop relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, banks and broker dealers.
• Improve utilisation of credit inventory and support short-covering needs.
• Contribute to franchise development and strategic expansion.
