Job Description
- Manage the collection of outstanding payments from clients in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and payment histories.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and ensure prompt follow-up on overdue invoices.
- Communicate with clients to negotiate payment plans where necessary.
- Prepare regular reports for the accounting & finance department on debt status.
- Work closely with internal teams to address account-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations regarding credit control.
- Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks within the department as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
