Job summary

RG Consultancy Ltd is recruiting a Credit Controller in Leyland, Lancashire to join a small, friendly team. You will report to the Financial Controller and work with another Accounts Assistant to manage day-to-day sales ledger tasks and ensure timely collection of overdue payments.

The role involves end-to-end credit control, including setting up new customer accounts, credit checks, reviewing credit limits, posting cash, and maintaining customer records.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and sales ledger duties.
• Ability to perform credit checks and set credit limits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day sales ledger duties and ensure timely collection of overdue payments.
• Set up new customer accounts and maintain customer records.
• Post cash received and resolve queries around outstanding invoices.
• Produce monthly customer statements and regular reporting.
