Job summary

Astute Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a Mansfield-based, office-based role. You will manage your own ledger, chase overdue accounts, and support cash flow forecasting within a small team.

The position offers an 8:30 am–5:00 pm schedule, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking, and a bonus scheme. Candidates should be able to hit the ground running.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller.
• Experience managing own ledger and reporting to manager.
• Strong communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring outstanding debts are kept to a minimum
• Chasing all overdue accounts
• Dealing with any account queries
• Sending out copy invoices and statements
• Investigating any discrepancies on invoices
• Placing accounts on stop
• Allocation of payments to accounts

Credit Controller Mansfield £28,000 - £30,000 Fully Office Based

An opportunity as arisen for an experienced credit controller to join this well-established company based in Mansfield. Working in a small credit control team, you will have responsibility for your own ledger and reporting into the Manger.

Duties will include:

• Ensuring outstanding debts are kept to a minimum
• Chasing all overdue accounts
• Dealing with any account queries
• Sending out copy invoices and statements
• Investigating any discrepancies on invoices
• Placing accounts on stop
• Allocation of payments to accounts
• Assisting with cash flow forecasts
• Setting up new accounts and credit limits

This will be a super position and to be part of a friendly team. They have free parking, hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with 30 minutes for lunch, 22 days holiday, plus bank holidays. They are looking for an experienced proven Credit Controller who can hit the ground running. There is also a bonus scheme available.
