Responsibilities

  • Accurately allocate customer payments and reconcile bank transactions within the ERP system.
  • Manage customer onboarding, including credit assessments and setting up accounts.
  • Proactively chase outstanding debt and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Monitor and manage credit limits and accounts on hold.
  • Provide support during month-end close and assist with ad hoc financial queries.

Credit Controller

– 6-Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary : £35,000

Location : Near Lincoln

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking to join a friendly, supportive finance team where your contribution really matters? We're recruiting for a motivated individual to manage customer credit and receivables and play a key role in maintaining excellent financial controls.

About the Credit Controller role: To ensure the effective management of customer credit, receivables, and cash allocation processes, supporting the company's working capital objectives and maintaining accurate financial records. The role is responsible for administering customer accounts, monitoring credit exposure, collecting aged debt, and ensuring timely and accurate posting of bank transactions within the ERP system. In addition, this position supports the wider Finance team by assisting with month-end activities and providing ad hoc financial and accounting support to maintain strong financial controls and reporting accuracy.

You’ll also support the wider Finance team with month-end processes and ad hoc finance queries—making this a varied and interesting role where no two days are the same.
