Qualifications

  • Experience in credit control in the London insurance market.
  • Good knowledge of Xchanging and London market bureau processes.
  • Ability to create and report Management Information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection and reconciliation of premiums.
  • Minimise bad debt and maximise cash flow.
  • Liaise with brokers about overdue premiums.

An excellent opportunity to join an ambitious Lloyd's syndicate

The successful candidate will have credit control experience gained in the London insurance market and knowledge of Xchanging / London market bureau processes

You will be assisting with the collection and reconciliation of premiums, minimising bad debt and maximising cash flow

Liaising with brokers, chasing overdue premium and remittances

Assisting the underwriting teams with the management of outstanding premium

Creating and reporting relevant MI to support internal and external requirements

Assisting with month-end close procedures when required

Good analytical, mathematical and organisational skills will be required

Excellent communication skills

The ability to work collaboratively with other teams to achieve common goals

Good knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel
