Overview

How you’ll power our business as a Credit Control Team Leader. As a Credit Control Team Leader, you will manage a team of credit controllers responsible for collecting overdue debt in a professional and timely manner from both commercial and consumer customers. We are moving from fossil fuels to 100 % renewable energy by 2040, and we support customers in reducing carbon emissions by helping them switch from oil to gas, while developing heat pumps, solar panels and bio‑fuels solutions to reduce energy consumption. Success in this role means job security and the opportunity to join exciting new initiatives.

What we need from you
  • Credit Control – debt chasing experience is essential.
  • Excellent customer service, time management and telephone skills.
  • Experience dealing with a high volume of customer accounts and associated call volume.
  • Numerate.
  • Strong negotiator and query resolution ability.
  • Ability to make decisions within designated agreed levels of authority.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work to specific deadlines is a pre requisite.
  • Ledger management of customer accounts.
  • Knowledge of debt collection techniques.
  • Communicates influentially.
  • Strong customer service skills (written and verbal).
