As Credit Control Manager, based in Glasgow, you’ll lead a talented team to deliver exceptional results across cash collection, stakeholder engagement and process improvement, while contributing to a global transformation journey that’s reshaping the organisation’s finance operations.
The Opportunity
Working as part of a high-performing global Accounts Receivable leadership team, you’ll be responsible for driving cashflow performance, managing credit risk and optimising the order-to-cash process across your region. This is a hands-on leadership position that blends strategic thinking with day-to-day delivery, offering real scope to influence the business and elevate operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop regional credit control teams to achieve collection, DSO and KPI targets.
 
- Collaborate with the Global Head of Accounts Receivable to deliver the global credit strategy.
 
- Partner with stakeholders to improve systems, controls and processes across the AR function.
 
- Provide accurate and insightful performance reporting to senior leadership.
 
- Drive consistency, accountability and engagement within the team.
 
- Play a key role in transformation projects, embedding best practice and automation.
 
- Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement.
 
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience leading large or multi-region credit control functions within a complex, global organisation.
 
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and empower teams.
 
- Confident communicator, able to build trusted relationships at all levels.
 
- Sound commercial judgement and a thorough understanding of order-to-cash processes.
 
- Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder management capabilities.
 
- CICM qualification and/or fluency in a second European language (German, Dutch, French or Arabic) are advantageous.
