Responsibilities

 - Monitor aged debt and bad debt provision, resolving overdue accounts while maintaining strong client relationships.

 - Produce and analyse key performance indicators to track and improve collection performance.
 - Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve complex credit issues and ensure financial accuracy.
 - Liaise with external recovery partners when necessary to support effective debt resolution.
 - Report regularly to senior leadership on collection performance, risks, and recovery progress.
 - Contribute to finance-wide improvement initiatives, including system and process enhancements.
 
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in credit management, ideally within a complex environment.
 - Strong working knowledge of credit control systems (e.g., SAP or similar).
 - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
 - Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
 - Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to develop team capability.
 - High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
 - Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to credit control.
 - Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets or supplier contracts.
 - Professional qualification in credit management or finance (e.g., CICM) is desirable.
 - Experience working with professional clients or service-based billing cycles is an advantage.
