Credit Control Assistant is required to join a growing company in the Bilston area. A detail-oriented and proactive person is required to join their busy finance team. This is a varied role focused on credit control, purchase ledger, and sales ledger responsibilities. You will be confident working independently, have excellent communication skills, and a strong grasp of financial administration.

As a Credit Control Assistant, you will be required to
  • Professionally chase outstanding customer payments to improve cash flow, ensuring correct approvals and timely settlements
  • Process and maintain supplier invoices accurately
  • Raise and issue sales invoices, maintaining up-to-date records
  • Reconcile customer and supplier accounts, resolving discrepancies
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor company cash flow
  • Process employee expenses and support financial documentation
  • Prepare management reports including aged debt analysis and payment schedules
Ideally you will have the following skills and experience
  • Credit control, sales & purchase ledger exposure
  • A basic understanding of VAT
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
  • Ability to manage your workload independently and meet deadlines
On offer for this Credit Control Assistant role
  • Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (on-site)
  • Starting salary of £26-28,000p/a
  • Company pension
  • 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
