After an incredible period of growth, we’re expanding our finance team and looking for someone who wants to be part of our mission to balance nature and progress. If that sounds like you, join us as a Credit Control Administrator at our head office on the outskirts of Chester, near Broughton Business Park.

What You Need to Know From Us

Below are the key details of the role:

  • Contract Type: 6 month FTC (with scope to go permanent), full-time 9-5:30
  • Working Status: Office-based
  • Salary: £25,400-£28,000 (dependent on experience) per annum plus perks
What We Expect From You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is highly motivated and passionate about their work
  • Has exceptional spoken and written English skills; particularly strong phone communication skills which they’re eager to use
  • Can work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Can handle payments and sensitive information with care and confidentiality
  • Works well as part of a team and can build strong relationships with internal departments
  • Prior credit control experience is ideal but not required - this role is also suitable for someone looking to take their first steps in their career, or someone who is looking to move from another phone-based role such as sales or call-centre work, with a strong existing team in place able to provide training and support.
What the Role Involves

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting “early debt” clients – i.e. those with relatively recent outstanding payments – via phone and email to chase payment
  • Addressing issues and queries that may be leading to late payment, escalating to the Debt Lead where necessary
  • Meticulously documenting all communications and ensuring related admin is complete
  • Supporting the wider team during busy periods
  • Carrying out other administrative duties as required
