Overview

Are you early in your Credit Control career or if you already have experience and are looking for that next step in a supportive and growing team? Think Accountancy & Finance are working with a fantastic business in Hemel Hempstead that's looking for a Credit Controller to join their friendly and sociable finance department this November.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1+ years experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable who’s eager to develop and take on more responsibility. You’ll receive full training and, over time, take ownership of your own ledger.

Location: Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid after training)

Contract: 6-Month FTC (with potential to go permanent)

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing your own client ledger and building strong customer relationships
  • Handling incoming queries through a ticketing system
  • Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues
  • Using Excel for reporting and account tracking
  • Monitoring aged debt and escalating where necessary
What We're Looking For
  • 1+ year of experience in Credit Control or similar finance admin role
  • A confident communicator who’s happy picking up the phone
  • Eager to learn and take ownership of your own workload
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured environment
  • Proficient with Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas)
  • A positive team player who enjoys working with others
  • Available to start in November
