About the job Credit Analyst Bureau Reporting

Our client, an established bank, is looking to recruit a Data Analyst within their Leeds/Yorkshire or London office. The analyst will be working within the Credit Team to manage key data and reporting process using SQL and SAS. The successful candidate is likely to have a strong academic and analytical background as well as excellent stakeholder management skills. There would be excellent opportunities for you to develop your technical skills including learning SAS and other programming languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and management of a range of data reporting projects using SQL and SAS.
  • Coordinate monthly UK data reporting ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Monitoring of data reporting validation reports, including investigation and analysis of credit bureau & asset registration reporting discrepancies.
  • Liaising with business partners and central bank teams to present results and resolve issues

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Educated to degree standard (or equivalent) in a numerate subject with knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques.
  • Experience of SQL
  • Experience of SAS is advantageous.
  • Intermediate level IT skills (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Confident solving problems in an analytical manner.
  • Intermediate knowledge of credit bureau reporting is desirable but not necessary.
