We’re looking for passionate, adaptable individuals who love working with children and want to make a positive impact in education.

Teaching Assistant Opportunities

We have roles available across all primary age groups (EYFS/KS1/KS2), where you’ll play a vital role in supporting children and teachers:

  • Early Years (3-5): Engage children in play-based learning, help them with phonics, and support their development in numbers and letters.
  • Primary (KS1/KS2): Assist in structured classroom settings, supporting students with learning activities in English, Maths, and other subjects.
  • Special Educational Needs (SEN): Work closely with specific children to build strong relationships and provide tailored support during lessons.
Why performers make great Teaching Assistants

Your background in performing equips you with unique skills that are perfect for the classroom:

  • Flexible schedule to fit around auditions and professional jobs.
  • Local work in primary schools near you.
  • A chance to channel your creativity and energy into an inspiring new role.
  • Make a meaningful difference in children’s learning and development.
Role Details
  • Full school day: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (approx.).
  • Flexible supply work, with opportunities booked in advance or on the day.
  • All candidates must hold an Enhanced DBS disclosure and complete the Philosophy Education registration process in line with DfE guidelines.

We have a policy to respond to all applications within three working days. However, because of the volume of applications, we are sometimes unable to reply to individual enquiries. If we have not contacted you within this specified time your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.
