Job summary

FIND Medical is seeking a Creative Therapist for Children’s Residential Homes. The role is home-based with regular travel to residential services within approximately 45 minutes of Peterborough, to provide therapeutic support, assessments, interventions, and guidance to care teams.

This full-time position requires registration with UKCP, HCPC, or BACP and experience with children and young people in therapeutic or residential settings.

Qualifications

• Registration with UKCP, HCPC, or BACP.
• Experience with children/young people in residential/therapeutic/educational settings.
• Proven experience supporting children with complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs.
• Strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to residential services within ~45 minutes of Peterborough.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions to children and young people in residential care.
• Undertake assessments and formulate therapeutic support plans.
• Work collaboratively with residential staff, families, and external professionals.
• Provide consultation, advice, and support to care teams.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Therapist to support children and young people within our residential services. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people with a range of emotional, behavioural, and therapeutic needs.
The role is primarily home-based, with regular travel to residential homes within approximately 45 minutes of Peterborough to provide therapeutic support, assessments, interventions, and guidance to care teams.
