Overview

We’re seeking a versatile Creative Technologist who will work at the forefront of the business, translating creative concepts into interactive experiences. You will build prototypes, tools, and solutions that bring the future of play to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will join a vibrant, passionate, and dedicated team where you will develop new, exciting future‑play formats across a range of physical, digital, and blended form factors.
  • Create rapid prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts (POC) using a wide range of technologies and platforms.
  • Be ready to quickly dive in and learn new technologies on the fly.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers to develop innovative solutions for our creative projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, blockers, and issues.
  • Document the development process and be comfortable presenting your ideas to an audience of peers.
  • Research and prototype new techniques and technologies to push the boundaries of the studio’s technical ability.
  • Develop and implement interactive installations, experiences, or applications.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Creative Technologist, Technical Artist, or a similar hybrid role that demonstrates both creative and technical understanding.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, C, Python, TypeScript, or similar.
  • Comfortable working within an R&D prototyping and high‑ambiguity environment.
  • Experience with AR/VR technologies, physical computing, or interactive installations.
  • Experience with ML models, generative AI services, and libraries such as PyTorch.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the initiative and drive to understand how to get from A to B on new challenges.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating the intersection of creative and technical skills; we want to see creative prototypes, interactive experiences, and custom tools that demonstrate your problem‑solving abilities.
Nice to Have
  • Unreal or Unity game engine experience.
  • Physical hardware and electronic engineering (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
  • A passion for emerging technologies and the latest industry trends with a strong desire to apply the latest innovations to the projects you work on.
