Job summary

bartlett mitchell is hiring an experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Denham. You will produce high-quality food within time and budget targets and step in for Head Chef when required.

You’ll develop menus, research trends, and contribute to improving standards. Strong communication, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach are essential. Relevant food safety qualifications and some supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Educated to C&G 706/1 & 2 or NVQ or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Food Safety and Health & Safety certificates at level 2 and COSHH & HACCP knowledge.
• Around 2 years’ experience in a similarly sized operation, with supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce and develop high-standard food within required time and budget targets.
• Step in for Head Chef when required and support kitchen leadership.
• Develop menus, research trends, and implement new initiatives.
• Promote team spirit, company culture and strong communication.
• Commit to continuous learning through workshops and forums.
