The Faculty of Engineering, Science and Environment are recruiting a graduate as a Creative Quadrant Assistant Technician. The Creative Quadrant (CQ) Makerspace and SkyDeck are equipped for the teaching of undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education courses in innovation (design thinking, prototyping, making, tech hacks, Lego Serious Play, and design sprints), as well as staff workshops. The Business School’s CQ forms a vital component of the students’ ‘learning landscape’. It is used for scheduled teaching and as a ‘drop‑in’ resource for students to create and make. The CQ contains tools, equipment, and space for low‑fi design, prototyping and making. Teaching sessions are structured around utilizing the flexible space and the equipment and tools to allow for creative activities. You will help organise the daily operation of the CQ and SkyDeck working with academic staff to explore new and creative ways in which the spaces may be used to make the most of this asset. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) scheme and offers full‑time hours (36.5 per week) from January to December 2026. You will work from the Streatham Campus in Exeter. For more information on the GBP scheme, please visit www.exeter.ac.uk/internships.
